I am currently backpacking abroad and am wondering how people were notified about the interview. My status still says "Rostered" for the internship position but I have not heard anything at all via email...

The owner of the blog. Could you add Vienna and Geneva housing to this forum? You only have New York. Me I applied to 2. I am from Montreal. Normally I should be going to NY if I am selected (crossing fingers) because, it's close (can even go by bus), spend in dollars, and i already lived like 8 years in the US. However i think I will head to Vienna cause i am more interested in the organization there (long term). I hear how socially interesting NY internships are. some people even say the social life alone makes the internship worth it. does anybody know about Vienna??? I am speaking like this, I better receive an offer.

Hi Flora and everybody else. Where do you see "Rostered". I did not use Galaxy. I used the new one. When I go to "my career Tools" my status is "Applied". Is that where you see Rostered. If that's the case then i am screwed. To be clear, I have 7 links. Careers Home Job Search My Saved Jobs My Saved Searches My Career Tools Logout
Is it the same for you? Thanks

I meant
"Careers Home" "Job Search" "My Saved Jobs" "My Saved Searches" "My Career Tools" "Logout"
When I go to "My Career Tools" I see my application there and the status is "Applied". It never changed. That was the status the first day I applied.
I sent an e-mail to unhq-internship@un.org and they replied with this
Dear Candidate:
Thank you for your interest in the Spring 2011 Internship Programme. Due to the high volume of applications received, you will only be contacted if your application has been successful.
Best Regards United Nations Headquarters Internship Programme
[This is an automated message. Please do not response to this email address]
I am starting to think my application is out.

Hi, Sniper, yes, Inspira system. It will change from "applied" to "under consideration" to " rostered" to ... I have not seen the next step yet. (Fingers Crossing.)

If I understand correctly, its Rostered in the status that you want to be seeing, because it means your profile has been circulated to be chosen from.

I applied to 2 and my NY one remained "Applied" too. I don't even care cause I wasn't planning on going there anyway. I have another application at Vienna. I contacted them and they actually replied. They told me "My application is already under review in a substantial department". the NY application was just a backup plan. The owner of the blog. Could you add Vienna and Geneva. Lots of interns actually go to Geneva and Vienna too so may be you can add that for us.
